Following Bonnie Crombie's resignation and anticipating the election of a new leader in the first quarter of 2026, this is a pivotal moment for reflection and renewal. The challenges the OLP has faced in recent years have underscored the need for a thoughtful reorganization—one that strengthens its grassroots engagement, refines its policy platform, and positions itself to reclaim its place as Ontario's progressive voice.
People with progressive liberal views strongly believe that this moment of transition can be turned into a catalyst for lasting change. By reflecting on reorganization now, they believe they can ensure a more resilient, inclusive, and electorally competitive OLP moving forward.
To that end, we are proposing and hosting a round table-style fireside chat in October 2025, bringing together potential electoral candidates and prominent liberal political organizers.
